Concept
As a graphic designer, I created a logo for this esports talent management agency PixelPunks. The logo is a bold, contrasting, and boxy symbol that represents eyes, messages, and the alphabet PP. The eyes represent the agency's ability to see the potential in esports athletes and brands. The messages represent the agency's ability to deliver those athletes and brands to their target audiences. And the PP stands for PixelPunks.
I wanted the logo to be simple and memorable, while also conveying the agency's values and mission. I think I was able to achieve that goal, and I'm proud of the work I did.
Our brand name 'PixelPunks' is a clever and memorable combination of the words "pixel" and "punks." It evokes both the retro aesthetic of pixel art and the rebellious spirit of punk culture. We are inspired by the bold, contesting, and boxy qualities of these two concepts, and we have created a brand identity that is visually striking and unique.
Our brand colors are bright and vibrant, reflecting the energy and enthusiasm of our brand. Our logo is a simple yet effective design that incorporates both pixel art and punk elements. We also use boxy shapes, elements and boxy typography throughout our branding, creating a cohesive and visually appealing look.
